Arthur and Kotak founded Unitbase after years building financial solutions for renters and landlords.

As early product leaders at Flex, they helped scale the largest rent payment network in the country. There, they worked closely with some of the largest operators in the U.S., alongside the teams responsible for keeping portfolios running every day.

Through that experience, they saw how much of real estate operations still relies on fragmented systems and manual coordination. Even high-performing teams were slowed by disconnected tools and processes that had not meaningfully evolved in decades.

Unitbase was built on a simple belief: the day-to-day of running a property can and should be better. Real estate deserves to sit at the frontier of modern software and automation, not lag behind it.
